The 78th AIPH Annual Congress will take place from 13th-17th September 2026 in the beautiful city of Bari, in the Puglia region of Italy. The event is organised with the support of AIPH’s member in Italy: ANVE.
Set in the south-east of Italy, Puglia is one of the country’s most productive and distinctive horticultural regions. Its long growing season, fertile soils, and abundant sunlight create ideal conditions for ornamental crop production, with nurseries producing a diverse range of plants for domestic and international markets.
Hosting the Congress in Puglia places delegates at the heart of a region where the power of plants is visible in practice—across its landscapes, its industry, and its communities. It provides a fitting setting to explore how horticulture continues to drive innovation, sustainability, and economic value on both a local and global scale.

A welcome dinner will be held at a location to be confirmed.
14 Sept International Horticultural Expo Conference
AIPH International Horticultural Expo Conference featuring progress reports from upcoming AIPH-approved Expos, including GREENxEXPO 2027 Yokohama in Japan, Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) 2029 in Thailand, and Expo 2031 Minnesota in the USA.
15 Sept Horticultural Industry Conference
AIPH Horticultural Industry Conference - covering Green Cities, technical and marketing initiatives, and crop protection.
16-17 Sept Professional Visits
Professional visits to local producers in the Puglia region of Italy will take place 16-17 Sept.
18-19 Sept Additional Tours
For those interested, the Congress will include an additional two days of professional visits to producers near Pistoia in the Tuscany region of Italy. More information will be confirmed soon.
