Discover the diversity and innovation of Italian horticulture through a curated programme of professional visits across the Puglia region.
Delegates will visit four leading nurseries, gaining first-hand insight into production systems, plant selection, and business approaches. These visits also provide valuable time for informal conversations and relationship-building, creating space to connect with peers and strengthen the international AIPH network.
Visits will include

Vivai Capitanio
Situated in the countryside surrounding Monopoli, Vivai Capitanio specialises in outdoor ornamental plants. The nursery produces more than 500 varieties over 50 hectares, with an additional 10 hectares of greenhouses used for the propagation, acclimatization and cultivation of sub-tropical plants.

Florpagano
A family business, Florpagano was founded in 1968 by Antonio Pagano when he began growing tropical plants in his father’s converted attic. Today, the company produces, processed, and markets over 2 million potted plants, distributing them throughout Italy and neighbouring European countries.
