The 16th AIPH International Grower of the Year (IGOTY) Awards Ceremony and celebratory reception will take place on 15th June 2027 alongside GreenTech Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
These prestigious awards recognise and promote best practice in ornamentals production by the top nurseries around the globe and celebrate the expertise and energy they give to the horticulture industry.
The awards comprise four categories:
- Finished Plants and Trees: Growers of plants and trees that are ready for final sale.
- Young Plants: Growers of cuttings, plugs, liners, seedlings, etc, which are sold for growing on.
- Cut Flowers and Bulbs: Producers of flowers and foliage which are cut for indoor decorative use and bulbs.
- Sustainability: recognising best practice and innovation in improving sustainability.
The Awards also celebrate the leaders of the next generation with the AIPH Young International Grower of the Year, held in partnership with Jungle Talks.
A panel of leading industry experts from around the world will judge the entries against specific criteria to compile a short list of Finalists who will attend the awards ceremony. Winners within each category will be announced at the ceremony.
From the winners of the first three categories, one grower will be crowned the overall AIPH International Grower of the Year and be presented with the coveted Gold Rose Award.
AIPH is the International Association of Horticultural Producers.
